Training Qualifications

Knowledge requirements for all courses are delivered via the Grey Seal interactive online learning environment with a named trainer assigned to each delegate; contact your trainer via email, skype, phone.... for questions, clarification etc.  Individual feedback supplied by the trainer on assignments.  Ineract with peers on the same course using the course forum.  Where courses require access to apprentices e.g., the Assessors qualification these may be assigned to you. Where taught sessions or observations are required e.g., the EPA or E&T qualifications class sizes are small allowing for efficient use of your time and plenty of individual guidance.  Please contact us for detailed information for each course

Level 3 Award in Undertaking End-Point Assessment

A new, highly sought after and nationally recognised qualification; Grey Seal is one of a very small number of accredited centres.  This qualification prepares you for End Point Assessing the new Apprenticeship Standards.  This provides excellent CPD to prepare you for work as an Independent End Point Assessor.

Designed for qualified vocational / work place Assessors it will help you to better understand this significant industry development.

The course will give you an understanding of the process, help you to understand and interpret assessment plans and look at how to plan and carry out a quality end-point assessment.

The course is delivered using online learning technology which means it can be flexible to work around a busy schedule.

You will get:

  • An online learning environment where you can watch webinars and read about End-Point Assessment processes
  • An assigned Tutor that will help you with any questions or queries. Need some “one to one” time? No problem, our qualified Tutors can arrange online meetings when you need that extra help
  • Assignments you can complete at your own pace and submit online, receiving feedback from your Tutor
  • Experience what it is like to make a judgement as an End-Point Assessor though an online meeting with activities where you will make judgements, moderate with others and practice documenting your assessments. These are scheduled at least monthly so you can find a date and time that suits you.
  • An online forum where you can ask questions and get answers, and read answers to questions others have asked!

On completion you will receive a nationally recognised qualification, certificated by Highfield Qualifications.


Level 3 Work Place / Vocational Assessor Qualification

The NVQ Assessor qualification is a nationally recognised and highly sought after qualification, which will enable you to assess others on their NVQ and a range of other qualifications. This qualification is accredited at Level 3.

Level 3 Award in Education and Training

A nationally recognised, accredited teaching qualification consisting of knowledge and performance standards. You will learn about your role in the Education and Training industry completing knowledge assignments as well as experiencing the process of planning and delivering a teaching session. 

This qualification is perfect for those that are considering a career change or those who are already working in an education of training rolewho have never undertaken a teaching qualification before. 

Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification

A nationally recognised qualification allowing you to Internally Quality Assess qualifications generally for a training provider offering recognised qualifications that require a qualified Internal Quality Assurer to conduct sampling and other quality assurance activities. 

This is perfect for those who are experienced delivering qualifications in their field and want to take the next step in their career. 

Level 2 Certificate in Equality and Diversity

Good CPD for a range of sectors, you will reflect on equality in the workplace, local community and the wider society. This can be useful to reflect on your own interactions with others and if involved iin Education or Training roles, help you to consider different topics and ideas you might embed into your training delivery.
